Murphy Family Farmstead

All of our Hens are allowed free range of the 5 and a half acres of the farmstead. Being let out a sun up and put away at sun down, they are never caged and kept safe by their guardian animals such as Gigi the resident protector Border Collie Mix

We started our flock with a ten hen max chicken coop built my Mr. ChickenCoop. This coop has three laying boxes and a roosting bar for sleeping at night. There is an attached run for rainy weather to allow the hens to stay warm if wanted.

All eggs are collected and registered daily, so you know the exact date they were laid. Each chicken lays a different type and color of egg, something you can find more about on Our Animals page

We are not here to grow into another large scale chicken or egg farm, but a small business providing quality products to the northern Seattle area. With that in mind, there might be some longer wait times if we find demand is far exceeding what our flock can supply
